Privacy Policy
Effective date: 15 September 2026
Auvum Bio ("Auvum," "we," "us") operates auvumbio.com to describe our research and connect institutions, laboratories, licensed professionals, and government or public-health programs with our work. This policy explains what personal data this site collects, why we collect it, how it's handled, and how you can reach us about it. It covers auvumbio.com, and — for transparency — explains how Auvum handles OutPatient AI data when it processes that data on a partner site's behalf.
Auvum Bio is a research company. Nothing on this site is an offer to treat, and no Auvum material is approved for human therapeutic use in any market — this policy is about how we handle data, not about what we supply.
What we collect
We collect only what we need to run this site and respond to the people who contact us.
Information you give us directly
When you submit our contact form, we collect the fields on that form: your name, email address, organization, country, how you are contacting us (clinic, research, government, outpatient-AI interest, or other), any note you give us about the regulatory pathway relevant to your work, and your message. Submitting the form also requires checking a consent box before it will send.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our server automatically logs standard technical information for every visit — things like IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the date and time. These logs exist to keep the site running securely and to diagnose problems; we do not use them to build profiles of visitors.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or third-party analytics software. We are not running any hidden measurement tool to watch what you do on the site. If that ever changes, we will update this policy first and describe plainly what was added and why. The site does store your English/Spanish language choice in your browser's local storage so it's remembered on your next visit — this stays on your device and is never sent to us.
Why we collect it
- To respond to your inquiry — read your message, route it to the right person, and reply to you.
- To operate OutPatient AI on behalf of the partner sites that use it (see the dedicated section below).
- To keep the site secure and working (the server logs).
We do not use contact-form data for marketing lists.
How it's stored and who sees it
When you submit the contact form, the submission is logged to a private file on our server, and two emails are sent automatically: one notifying office@auvumbio.com that a new inquiry has arrived, and one confirming to you, at the email address you gave us, that we received it. Access to the server log and to office@auvumbio.com is limited to Auvum staff who need it to respond to inquiries. We do not share contact-form submissions with any third party, except: the hosting and email-delivery providers we use to run this site and send these messages (who are bound to use the data only for that purpose); where needed to operate OutPatient AI for the specific partner site a submission concerns; or where required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep contact-form submissions and related email records for as long as needed to answer your inquiry and for a reasonable period afterward — in practice, generally no more than 24 months from the date you submitted the form — unless the inquiry leads to an ongoing research or contractual relationship, in which case records tied to that relationship are kept for as long as the relationship and any related agreement require. Server logs are kept for a much shorter period and are cycled out as part of normal server operation.
It is not sold
We do not sell, rent, or trade the personal data collected through this site to anyone, for any purpose.
Corrections and deletion
If you want to see what we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it, email office@auvumbio.com. Tell us which submission you mean (the email address and an approximate date is usually enough) and what you'd like done. We will act on it as soon as we reasonably can, and we'll tell you if there's a reason we can't fully delete something — for example, a record we're required to keep as part of an active regulatory or contractual matter.
OutPatient AI data
OutPatient AI is a product Auvum is developing for partner sites: a wearable plus a short check-in feed a dashboard so a partner site can see what happened between visits. Wherever OutPatient AI runs — currently the United States and Colombia at minimum — the wearable data it collects (things like sleep, activity, and resting and variable heart rate) and the check-in responses belong to, and stay governed by, that partner site's own study protocol and its own consent and privacy terms with the person wearing the device.
For this data, we only handle it the way the partner site's protocol tells us to — we don't decide how it's used, we are not the treating party, we do not make treatment decisions from it, and we do not use it for any purpose outside what the partner site's protocol authorizes. Questions about OutPatient AI data collected as part of a specific study should go first to that study's partner site; you can also reach us at office@auvumbio.com and we will route the question appropriately.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational steps to protect the data described in this policy from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. No system is perfectly secure and we can't guarantee absolute security, but we treat this data as something to be handled carefully, not casually.
Children
This site is directed at institutions, laboratories, and professionals, not at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children through it.
Where data is processed
Auvum operates from the United States and Colombia, and data collected through this site may be processed in either location by our staff.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site or our practices change. If we do, we'll update the effective date at the top and, for any change that meaningfully affects how we handle your data, describe what changed here in plain terms rather than simply replacing the page silently.
