We pay the lab, and we don't get to pick the answer
Independent laboratories we have no stake in run identity, sterility, endotoxin and particle characterisation; we pay for the work and have no say in what comes back. Testing you cannot influence is only worth paying for if a bad result stops the shipment, so that is how we run it. The certificate of analysis travels with the material, dated to that lot rather than to a sample from last year, and it reports what was measured — never what the material is supposed to do in a person. Where the field has no validated assay for something, the certificate says so instead of leaving the line blank.
